Teflon coated supermagnets are for special applications. This is some examples of PTFE magnet shapes that are available. The special PTFE coating is resistant to most types of corrosion and it stands up very well to impact. PTFE coatings require a molding fee up front but we can get many sizes of these magnets made. Lead time would be several weeks. Even though the magnets are extremely strong the low coefficient of friction inherent to PTFE means that they easily slide apart. These would be good for classrom demonstrations because they do not break on impact and it is easily to separate even though they are very strong magnets.
