This lifting magnet was designed for industrial applications and is used with crane operations. Lift as much as 2,208 pounds (1,000Kg) vertically and instantly be able to release and relocate the lifter magnet to the next object that needs to be lifted.  This magnet assembly weighs over 110 pounds (49.89kg) itself and has a safety factor of 3.5!  If your shop is looking for an easy way to lift large iron plates, pipes or rounds, this magnet is the easiest way to do it.  Simple handle lock/release mechanism means that you don't have to struggle to remove the magnet after use. Just set the lever and you are ready to lift.  To completely engage the magnets the PML1000 needs to be on the steel object.
